I have been planning this for a while now, and as I near the last two weeks of reading Twilight, the time has come to open the polls!
Everyone knows the importance of the final song in a film, the one that plays during the credits. The purpose of this is to bring the film to a closing with a song that seems to represent the movie you just watched. As songs have been such an important part of each chapter post, I have decided to take a vote for what the final song for Twilight should be, in the opinion of all the Twilighters around the world!
The goal is to find a song that seems to represent Twilight (the first book) as a whole to you. You can nominate up to 3 songs, but you must submit them separately.
There will be two rounds. One, will be suggesting songs. The second will be voting on the top-ten of those suggested. I will post the song for Twilight when I write on the epilogue, with my final thoughts on the book.
Also, as I am one who abhors polls with no prize, I am offering a free BITE ME HAT and MITCH HANSEN BAND CD to a randomly chosen person from those who enter– all straight from TwilightTeez.com!

I can’t wait to see what ones make it to the top ten! i really hope mine does, because it exactly tells you what edward is kinda feeling….. but it could also sorta work for new moon too……
Kaleb, is there a limit as to how many times you may suggest a song? (I have a few that all fit Twilight.)
The song I picked seems like it was written for Twilight. I don’t think it will make the Top 10, though. It’s not that known.

My song always reminds me of Bella/Edward’s relationship. If you listen to the words (esp. the chorus), you’ll totally agree. 🙂
I’ve always thought of Sound of Pulling Heaven Down by Blue October to be perfect for the credit song. I listen to it whenever I’m reading the end of Twilight

fun idea! I just spent like 30 minutes going through all my songs and looking up lyrics, then another 10 narrowing it down to three songs… definitely harder than I thought it was going to be! 😛

I think songs that aren’t in stephenie’s playlist should make the final cut, I mean, come on! She already made the playlist so the obviously already represent the book, so why not go with something different.
