A FORMER TWILIGHT-BANNER CONVERTS When I first started seeing Twilight around school, I completely loathed it. Dozens of girls would be consumed by this strange black book all throughout class, barely saying a word. I was a student director during the second semester of school and there were about 13 girls in my shows cast. As a student director it is already insanely difficult to keep the attention of your cast who barely respects you, but when you put Twilight in the picture, it can drive a person insane. Every day girls would be sitting off stage during rehearsal, noses dug into Twilight, New Moon, or Eclipse. It came to the point where I banned them from my rehearsal! I couldn’t stand Twilight. Not only did it have a disgustingly creepy and ugly cover, it was taking over the lives of my classmates. Not to mention I was stubbornly stuck on the fact that Harry Potter would always be the best and Twilight was a cheap imitation. But about a month before school got out, something horrible happened. My girlfriend had been sucked into the world of Twilight! I don’t know how it happened but all of the sudden she was constantly reading and talking about Twilight. She even kept trying to get me to read it. I really don’t read that much except for Harry Potter, so I resisted. I hated Twilight so much, why would I read it? After weeks of pestering she finally broke me down. I told myself I was only reading the book to prove a point. To prove that I could and would try something new. So I read it, and I loved it. I resisted loving it so much. I denied it time and time again. There was no way i could possibly be liking it so much. But I did, and I now proudly admit it! There is no denying how well written the books are and how interesting the story is. I now love Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, and soon Breaking Dawn. I think it really funny how Twilight kinda sneaks up on you like a virus and then suddenly consumes you! And then all you see, hear, feel, sleep, eat, work is Twilight… its like a disease…. but an awesome one that you dont want to go away.

gehe, my best friend hated twilight because she was the only one not knowing where the hell her friends were talking about, so I gave Twilight for her birthday… and now her boyfriend hates me because she’s in love with Edward ^^
The covers look great! Patrick, you were in denial, but it’s cool because you came out of it. I’m glad you love the first 3 books. I wonder how you’ll take Breaking Dawn cause there were so many mixed reactions?

Twilight strikes again! Although, It kind of hurt me to read all the “I hate Twilight” junk in the beginning! The covers look great, the story is amazing, and it has really hot vampires in it. What’s not to like?
I agree with #12, Michelle, it would be interesting to see how he (or any other guy for that matter. Kaleb, I’m looking at you) takes Breaking Dawn.

like ive gotten ALL of my friends to read them, and now they LOVVVEEE them and they cant stop. everytime i try to talk to em, their noses are in the books and theyre telling me to go away! lol

well, i’m just really happy that he read the books. but i can’t believe he hated the covers at first, i didn’t like the twilight cover at first but after i read the book, i loved the story and the cover a lot. that twilight guys report put a smile on my face 🙂
