A guy reads Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (2009-2011)

Post Cancelled Due To Sickness

Due to being sick today, there is no post. I know I could probably drag myself out of bed and write something, but it wouldn’t be funny, and thus would be so drastically boring you would get sick as well and hate me for eternity . Also, it is in my best interest to get better, as the premiere is but a few days away (!) .

However, there is some news and cool stuff. I was recently interviewed by TwilightTShirts.com (under The Pulse section), and they are offering to give some of their great merch away!

So, instead of a post (and in an effort to covertly help Liz from Twicurls win her college video contest), you can watch this short video and possibly win cool prizes (continued below):

This video has one thing to do with Twilight. Watch it over and over until you find that one thing (hint: try turning the volume up; but still watch it over and over, so she gets more views).

If you find that one thing, leave the answer as a comment, and you’ll be entered for the contest! I will be giving three Twilight T-shirts away, so be sure to enter!

ADDED: Before I get a flurry of emails, I said something in passing in the interview about what I might do after twilightguy.com, which was not entirely serious (yes, I am still learning how to watch what I say and how things can be misconstrued). So, nobody explode.

  1. Debussy’s Clair de Lune, which is the song that Edward and Bella both liked. It was the first thing they had in common =D

  2. That was soooo easy!! It’s Clair de Lune by Debussy playing in the background!!

    p.s.
    Hope you feel better!

  3. I know I know Clair de Lune is playing while the lady is talking about something about possible hoki or football!

  4. Clair de Lune… one of the prettiest pieces ever… and by Debussy… and it’s in Twilight 😀

Kaleb, I recognized it the second I heard the first note. (Am I obsessed? The answer is yes, yes I am) Where’s the challenge? I’m sure the 157 other commenters agree with me… 😀

    Hope you feel better!

  5. It’s the song, it’s Clair de Lune by Debussy in the movie and book. But on the soundtrack it’s by The APM Orchestra. In the book they mention it when Bella is in Edward’s Volvo for the first time.

  6. Clare de Lune playing in the background. . .
One week and precious few moments left to wait!!

  7. Clair de Lune. Debussy’s finest creation of you ask me. there is another piano piece that I liked…can’t recall the name.

But yeah, Clair de Lune (:

  8. I loved that song BEFORE I read Twilight, so hah, I win.

It was Debussy’s Clair de Lune, of course. ^_^ Gorgeous music.

  9. Debussy’s Clair de Lune is the background music!! Clever choice! Feel better kaleb! Drink plenty of water and gatorade, sleep a lot and take Mucinex D! The sure fire cure to the “crud” (i’m a nurse, i’m seeing it all day long) Oh, and if you’re not better in 5-7 days, get a Z-pak

  10. Oooh, I’ve listened to this song enough times to recognize it by the first chord.
Clair De Lune, of course of course. Good ol’ Debussy, though I sort of prefer Cake-Walk a bit more….
By the way, I hope you feel better soon. =)

  11. Claire de Lune, of course. I’m glad they decided to incorporate the song into the movie somehow, even if it’s not in the same way. It’s good to know that they’re trying to make us proud.

  12. HA! THAT’S CLAIRE DE LUNE IN THE BACKGROUND! I didn’t recognize it at first, then BAM! I got it!

  13. Claire De Lune of course!!! How could we not recognize that. (Watched it 3 time just to get ratings up for her, though I recognized it the first time)

    😀

  14. Clair de Lune! Its a favourite of both Bella and Edward’s. Love that song <3

    Feel better Kaleb!!!

  15. “Clair de Lune”!!! <3 <3
hope you get better soon! 🙂
i must have played the vid over 10 times!! hope that helps your friend 😉

  16. I noticed it in the 1st 3 seconds of the video, but I kept watching it to give her views. Clar de Lune, which is played when Bella goes over the Edward’s house and they start dancing in his room and when he is driving her home after bloody typing in the book.

  17. Sorry to hear your sick. and I wish my speakers would work so i could hear the video but meh.

so here’s something I found and I thought it was good for a lugh and laughter is the best medicine =]

  18. Clair de Lune-Debussy is in the background! Not only is it the song Bella and Edward bond over in the chapter Blood Type but it is also the music playing in a scene from Twilight that can be found in ‘Penelope’ DVD Bonus features!

Keep the germs to yourself and get better! You will post your review of the Twilight movie right?

  19. Btw-I’m proud of myself that I figured it out all on my own and didn’t have to look at the comments. I’m usually not good at those kinds of things. Tehe 🙂 I’m also kind of out of it today…I couldn’t even do my schoolwork without being distracted every five minutes. Haha. Anyhoo, I remember watching some random TV show with my dad once, and I heard Clair de Lune come on in the background and I jumped up and screamed something like, “OH! AHH! CLAIR! DE! LUNE!!! OH! MY GOSH!!!” Yeah…it was quite interesting. And my dad gave me a strange look. Haha 🙂

  20. Wow. Just make it easy enough 😛
I got it literally in the first 2 seconds of the video.
And it’s Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. It’s become a fad which is sad. Not many would have even paid attention to beautiful music like this otherwise in this day and age. Sigh. They say they love it, but can’t spell the title correct and can’t name another song by the same composer and probably can’t even pronounce ‘Debussy’. I’m sorry. Ranting is bad. 🙂 Have a good one.

  21. I go Ooooo this sounds hard. Then I listen and go Clair De Lune. That is way too easy. So I watch it about ten times and go there is nothing in here and ask my friend and she says Clair De Lune is in it. I go O I feel stupid… Ok and here I am!! So the answer is
    Clair De Lune!
And just to make sure I am entered:
    Clair De Lune
    One more time now:
    CLAIR DE LUNE

  22. While it’s not my favorite classical piece, I will always enjoy hearing Clair de Lune being played.

Hope you feel better soon. ^.^

  23. The background music is Claire de Lune its, well you know, Bella and Edwards favorite. Also I love what you did to the website! Hope you feel better Kaleb. 🙂
