Teen Wolves Descend Upon San Antonio High Schools

Dear Team Jacob: please don’t ever go this far!

I kinda wonder how far they actually take the whole werewolf thing. Does it involve actual howling at the moon, or is it more of just costumes and tails?

  1. Oh yeah… they're not there for attention, they are just on TV talking about their childish clique! Haha!

  2. I agree with the mom. If dressing like that is all the trouble she is having out of him she's lucky. Yeah it's a little odd, but what teen dosen't have those odd moments in their life. As long as nothing, or no one is getting hurt, then just let them be. Most of them will grow out of it anyways.

  3. i watched this on AOTS. i love how the mother stood like ten feet away saying she loves her child. hahaha.

  4. I had my goth-ish stage, where I always wore black everything and looked depressed and stuff. I've grown out of it. Though, I must say, it'd be awesome to have those kind of contacts. I'd wear those! 😀

  5. It's prob. more like role playing and I think (or hope) they know it's pretend and they really do just want a group in which they can belong. Hopefully, it's only metaphorical and make believe. Other wise these people are nuts. I saw this video on some other website and everyone was blaming it on Twilight's romantisizing (sp?) of mythical beasts. People said they thought it would be cool if someone got video footage of them fighting a vampire “gang.” The group mostly consists of guys, right? Maybe they did it (the look & pretending to be a werewolf) to pick up girls! Any smart girl who loves Twilight would obviously see that these guys aren't Quilute. lol…

  6. She was standing 10 ft. away from her kid… I re-watched that part of the video. Wow! And why would you want to wear a leash? And what's up with the slaying of the dog? They say that is (tourturing animals) a sign of being a phycopath or a future seriel killer. I get being odd, quirky, and not fitting in. I'm a nerdy/geeky person at my school and odd because I always talk about fictional books and have wierd conversations with my friends but I agree these kids take being an “indevidual” too far.

  7. This isn't all that different then the kids who played that vampire roll playing game that was popular when I was in HS. These kids aren't causing a problem according to the school councelors, they go to school, they weren't rude or aggressive or even all that defensive about their group. In any social group your gonna get some kid who takes it too far, like the kid who killed a dog, but they are not the norm. One of my kids believes that anime characters really exist in another dimension. I went through a phase where I wanted to believe I had split personalities. Kids do silly things while trying to cope with being teenagers and then we grow up and become relatively normal. *heh*

  8. I think people need to stop judging. They seem like good kids. So what if they are a little different, who cares? Just because it goes against the social norms doesnt make it wrong. I worry about the one who was found with a dog skull, but other than that, I think they need to be left along.

  9. Hmmm…interesting. Well, I go to High School in San Antonio, but not on the northside. As far as I know, there arent any wolf packs at my school…
