This year there are a lot of Twilight conventions and events happening all around the world, and it’s exciting to watch how so many people come together as a fandom to celebrate the books and movies! As some of you may already know, I have plans to attend two Twilight events this year before I finish my blogging for Breaking Dawn (if I am passed through the media line again, I will be at the New Moon premiere as well). One of those events is SUMMER SCHOOL IN FORKS.
At SSIF, I will be giving a keynote address aptly titled “BITTEN BY TWILIGHT“. Many may recall that my website started out purely as my study of the books: I began as an outsider who knew nothing about the fandom, and as I near the end of Breaking Dawn, I have traveled along an enormous and exciting journey with all of you. The speech will take my experiences of reading the books, studying the series, and being part of the fandom, and turn it into one solid presentation of everything I have learned from the Twilight Saga. Oh man… being in Canada definitely has it's disadvantages.
Question though, do you know if there will be any way that those who couldn't make it, can hear the speech? Like, will there be a recording or some place that we can read what you said?

I would LOVE the two passes to SSIF. I was supposed to go with a bunch of my online Twilight friends, and then the whole trip fell apart. If I got the two passes, I could totally manage to go with someone.
I completely agree with the second part of Emily's comment.
And one of the events IS The first ever “Bella Swan Memorial Volleyball Tournament” . Why do I find humor in the title of the volleyball tournament. It's named after the only character that could take out the whole gym class with one swing at that volleyball. Anyhoo it sounds like fun.
